Black People Don't Like Art (Prototype)
A few days ago, I posted in a local Black Owned Business Directory community group on Facebook, trying to bring awareness about my studio, museum and my works. And another black businessman said that Black People do like or do art. This same person tried to request that he and several of his business partners could set up in front of my museum in the mall and make money in my first year opened. I gave them a price and they declined thinking it would be free. This person has not been in here ever. So to celebrate our 4th year in the Shoppes at Bel Air, receiving Best Business of the Year Award, the release of my upcoming graphic novel funded by the Verdant Grant by the Andy Warhol Foundation, and finding out about how people feel about what I do in my community, I made… BlackPeopleDontLikeArt.com
